Dear Lord,
I feel helpless and at times angry
because I'm not in control of my life at this moment
In my illness I am weakened and need the
care and support of others
Help me to know that You are there
ministering to me through the love
and kindness of family and friends
Let me not give way to self pity
But with patience and trust look forward
to restored good health
